Beatriz Neila Santos (Yamaha-Team Trasimeno) is the champion of the first edition of the Women’s European Cup! The Spanish finishes the race at the Autodromo Enzo and Dino Ferrari of Imola with another first place, leading the race alone since the traffic lights, and continuing the extraordinary schedule that sees her at full score after 4 heats. There was nothing to do for Roberta Ponziani (Yamaha- Motoxracing Team); the Abruzzese, forced at least in second place to keep mathematically in play, sees hopes fade at the last round, when a slip to the low variant has definitively excluded her from the fight laurel. Spectacular the battle in the last laps with Sabrina Della Manna (Yamaha – Gradara Corse) and Aurelia Cruciani (Yamaha-BRT Prototipi), arrived in order under the checkered flag.

At the foot of the podium Martina Guarino (Yamaha- Motoxracing Team), followed by Giulia Silvia Vercilli (Kawasaki-Extreme Racing) and Martina Plenario (Kawasaki-Plenario Racing). Excellent seventh place for the rookie Ran Yachay (Yamaha- Motoxracing Team): the Israeli can be fully satisfied with his debut and the improvements put on display lap after lap. Eighth and ninth place for teammates Sharni Pinfold and Grace Poutch(Yamaha- Motoxracing Team). Last behind the French Marielle Pierattini(Kawasaki-GP3 PASAMA) ends the weekend Eugenia De Luigi from Imola, accomplice of an error at Rivazza. Out on the first lap Alexandra Pelikánová. Retirement also for Beatrice Barbera(Kawasaki-GP3 PASAMA)

Satisfaction from the Championship Promoter Max De Simone, who at the end of the award ceremony commented: "It was a great emotion today to be able to reward the European Champion of the first edition of the Women’s European Cup, a championship born from a thousand difficulties but with dedication and commitment we managed to bring to very important levels. I thank all our institutional partners such as FIM Europa, the Italian Federation, Dunlop Italia, Total and all those who helped us and help us to carry out this project. A huge applause to Neila Santos but also to all the other drivers who are participating in this season. We are waiting for you in Vallelunga for a last spectacular round, where we will anticipate really important news for 2021!"

The praise for the new champion was not spared even Letizia Marchetti, Co-promoter and Federal Technician: "We already knew the potential of Beatriz, who has shown all his talent in the races so far played. Her constancy in the times and in the placements allowed her to get a well deserved first place in the Championship with a race in advance. My compliments to Beatriz Neila!"
